Asian Inspired Crock Pot Chicken

Grate Ginger I used an entire root about the size of my palm
6 tablespoons plum preserve (look for all natural)
3 tablespoons of maple syrup
3 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
5 tablespoons soy sauce
Mix above ingredients together in a mixing bowl

Place 4 semi defrosted chicken breast in crock pot pour above over the chicken.

Cook on high 6 hours

Makes 8 servings

Serve with white or fried rice and steamed broccoli. (Use extra sauce cooked in crock pot over rice.)


Crock Pot Chicken Noodle Soup

3 cans low sodium chicken broth
3 cans water
1 large tablespoon chicken base (McCormicks)
2 teaspoons pepper
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons adobe
4 frozen chicken breast
Chopped celery (use as much as you want)
Chopped carrots (use as much as you want)
Dumped everything in crock pot
Cook on High 6-8 hours

30 mins before serving add no yolk egg noodles (use as much as you like, I used an entire bag because I love noodles)

Makes approx 12 bowls.

Banana Split Cake

1 stick of butter melted and crushed graham crackers pushed into the bottom of a glass casserole dish.

Then beat 2 sticks of butter, 2 eggs and 1 lb of powder sugar together for 15 mins on high

Power this over the graham crackers

Cut up 5 large bananas and lay over the powder sugar

Drain a can of crushed pineapple and pour over the bananas

Cover in cool whip

Cover in nuts

Cover in cherries

Chill – then serve
